An open letter from Paul Fisher, CEO of Liberation Homelifts:
Dear valued blog reader,
I couldn’t be more pleased to be able to introduce Liberation Homelifts and tell you more about the difference we’re making in the lives of those who need mobility solutions. Our journey is rooted in my personal commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing mobility challenges, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and interest in finding out more about what we stand for.
The Spark of Inspiration
The inspiration behind Liberation Lifts came from a very personal place. As my parents and their group of friends aged, I became acutely aware of the challenges they faced in later life. The impact of these challenges extended beyond them, affecting tge lives of their children, caregivers and beyond. Witnessing this, I realised there was a pressing need for a solution that could provide dignity and independence to those struggling with mobility issues.
Born in Oxford, I have spent much of my career working overseas in logistics and international trade. In 2017, I felt a calling and decided to return to the UK, seeking a new challenge that would allow me to make a meaningful difference. This led to the inception of Liberation Homelifts, with a vision to create homelifts that combine practicality with elegance and modern technology.
Overcoming Challenges
Starting Liberation Lifts was not without its challenges. The initial hurdle was finding design engineers who possessed both the technical expertise and the enthusiasm for our mission. Fortunately, through a specialist engineering supplier, I was introduced to a talented team who shared my vision and were instrumental in developing our innovative lift design.
Our Mission and Innovations
At Liberation Homelifts, our mission is to produce affordable, aesthetically attractive lifts that eliminate the stigma often associated with mobility products. We noticed that many existing homelifts had not evolved much from their original designs and often looked like hospital equipment. Our goal was to change this by creating lifts that are not only practical but also visually appealing, ensuring they complement the home’s aesthetics. After all, other appliances have developed over time to bring sleek style to other areas of a house, so why shouldn’t a homelift do the same?
We believe that a homelift should be more than just functional; it should enhance the beauty of the home and blend seamlessly with its interior. When we got started, we truly saw that the opportunities were endless, so we focussed our design and development process on prioritising affordable luxury and modern technology.
Safety and Reliability
Safety is paramount in everything we do at Liberation Homelifts. Our lifts are manufactured in strict accordance with British Standards, with 70% of our research and development efforts dedicated to safety features. From emergency braking systems to advanced sensors, every aspect of our lifts is engineered to ensure maximum safety and reliability. Being manufactured in Britain also means that every regulation is in place to provide the highest of standards from sourcing materials to beyond installation, guaranteeing both the safety of every Taunton homelift user.
Making a Difference
Now that our homelift is officially on the market, we’re facing new challenges, such as dispelling misconceptions about homelifts, particularly regarding installation difficulty and cost. At Liberation Homelifts, we ensure that installation is straightforward and typically completed within two days, including any necessary structural modifications. Additionally, we strive to offer competitive pricing without compromising on quality or aesthetics. If you want to know more about the price of our lift, click here.
However, we’re now also reaping the best rewards imaginable: the joy and relief experienced by each client when they ride in their homelift for the first time. For many, a homelift is a life-changing purchase and moments like these underscore the significance of our mission and drive us to continually improve our products.
Sustainability and Future Vision
Sustainability is a core value at Liberation Lifts. We are committed to minimising waste and exploring options for refurbishing lifts to extend their lifespan. Our upholstery finishes are designed with sustainability in mind, making refurbishment a viable and eco-friendly option.
We are constantly seeking ways to innovate and improve our products, actively encouraging customer feedback to guide our development, so watch this space to find out what the future holds for both us and our lift!
In my view, Liberation Homelifts is more than just a company; it is a mission-driven enterprise dedicated to enhancing lives through innovative mobility solutions. With a focus on safety, design, and sustainability, and are already making a significant difference in the lives of our customers.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
